  CLIENT INFORMATION:  Our client is the world leader in safety and securement equipment for the aerospace, defense, and ground transportation industries. Headquartered in the UK, this company has manufacturing plants in the US and around the world. The DEFENSE BUSINESS UNIT is a premier provider of performance textile products for military aircraft, vehicle, logistics and maintenance organizations around the globe.

 
  PURPOSE OF POSITION:  To lead New Business Strategy, Sales & Marketing across the US Defense markets while working closely with the GM and UK counterpart to develop global strategy for maximum revenues. In time, to build and lead a Business Development organization in the US to meet and exceed all company goals.

 
  REPORTS TO:  General Manager, Director of Defense

 
  QUALIFICATIONS:  Highly intelligent, educated (BS/BA degree minimum), high energy, self motivated, hands-on leadership style.
Excellent business acumen.
Sales, marketing, business development and GM successful leadership roles in the US Defense industry A MUST!
Creative, strategic thinker.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Analytical thinker and decision maker, confident (NOT cocky), strong organizational skills.
Flexible style, customer and goal oriented.
Professional in appearance and demeanor.
Capable of rising to additional company leadership roles.

 
  COMPENSATION:  Base Salary 6 figures commensurate with experience. Bonus based upon company and individual performance.
